Children who have reached the age of 2 1/2 and are under the age of 18 who have a life-threatening medical condition i.e., a progressive, degenerative or malignant medical condition that has placed the child's life in jeopardy, are potentially eligible for a wish. Sammi and the Princess

When volunteers asked seven-year-old, Sammi what her most secret wish was, she said she wanted an X Box. But she also whispered that she wanted to meet a princess. So Make-A-Wish volunteers decided that they could have a Princess deliver Sammi's X-Box. The Princess came from the land where wishes are granted for children like Sammi. It's very pretty, with a white castle and friendly unicorns and flowers made of candy, a river that flows through it that tastes like fruit punch. A place where there are no tears, no sadness, only laughter and smiles. For every wish granted, another star appears in the sky. We have thousands of stars now and one more was added named Sammi.
