The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is again a national beneficiary of the 2009 Macy’s Thanks for Sharing program, which raised a record $700,000 for charities during the 2008 holiday season. The Foundation will also be the charity partner for Macy’s Believe, a campaign that generated $1,000,000 donation from Macy’s through children’s letters to Santa in 2008. Through the partnership with Macy’s and the Thanks for Sharing & Believe campaigns, over $89,000 was donated in 2008 to Make-A-Wish, Hawaii. Since 2003, Macy’s has donated over $1 million to the Foundation nationwide. We are proud of our long-standing partnership and thank Macy’s customers and associates for all that they do to help make wishes come true.
